What is ZoomInfo?

ZoomInfo is an all-in-one AI GTM Platform that helps B2B sales, marketing, RevOps, and customer success teams find, win, and grow business.

ZoomInfo has three layers, each on top of the one beneath it: a verified B2B data foundation (the GTM Context Graph), agent orchestration that executes, and apps and surfaces for universal access.

More than 50% of the Fortune 500 run their go-to-market motions with ZoomInfo.

What makes ZoomInfo different

A larger database than Apollo.io, Lusha, and Cognism

ZoomInfo has 500M+ contacts and 100M+ companies – it’s all verified too, not just the first record in a waterfall. That’s a big gap, compared with 270M contacts and 70M companies for Apollo.io, 280M contacts and 30M companies for Lusha, and 440M contacts for Cognism.

Unmatched GTM intelligence built in

The GTM Context Graph combines Chorus call, meeting, and email data with CRM, intent, and behavioral signals across 1.5B+ data points a day. No other competitor, including Apollo.io, Lusha, and Cognism has this breadth and depth of buying signal data.

Use ZoomInfo anywhere you like

Anyone can try ZoomInfo headless for free, via GTM.AI. Whereas all other competitors including Apollo.io, Lusha, and Clay place their API access behind a subscription and commitment to the wider platform.

Verified waterfall enrichment at no extra cost

GTM Studio checks 25+ data sources at the same time and returns the highest-confidence match, not just the record found, at no additional cost for customers. Clay offers flexible, custom-built workflows, but its waterfall runs in sequence, stops at the first match, and charges through actions and data credits that add up across multiple vendors.

Free to start, unlike quote-only competitors

ZoomInfo is free to start with consumption credits based on usage. Other large competitors like Cognism and Demandbase sell only through custom quotes, with no free plan, so you need to go through a sales process before you can test the data.

The team behind ZoomInfo

Henry Schuck worked as a marketing analyst at a go-to-market data startup to pay his way through college, and saw firsthand how inaccurate data held sales teams back. While in law school, he and co-founder put $25,000 on their credit cards to start DiscoverOrg in 2007 (Read the founder's letter).

In 2019, DiscoverOrg acquired ZoomInfo and adopted its name. The company went public in 2020 in the largest software IPO in a decade, and changed its Nasdaq ticker from ZI to GTM in 2025.

ZoomInfo’s customers are based globally across North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. ZoomInfo's data covers 34M+ companies and 200M+ professionals outside North America.
