Little River Medical Center (LRMC) has provided high-quality primary care for residents of Horry and Brunswick counties since 1978. Each of our sites are staffed with highly-skilled doctors, certified nurse practitioners, and registered nurses. Since its opening, LRMC has evolved into a network of services located throughout Horry County. The health centers are conveniently located in Little River, Myrtle Beach, Loris and the south strand. Future plans include a site in the Carolina Forest area. In addition to traditional primary care, we provide dental, behavioral health, pharmacy services, and case management. LRMC operates two dental clinics located in Myrtle Beach and Little River, and provides mobile dental services to students at numerous Horry County schools. Additional services provided by LRMC include Health Access, a medical clinic focused on providing medical care for the homeless. Health Access is located on Joe White Avenue in Myrtle Beach. While LRMC does accept Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance plans, we also offer programs allowing uninsured individuals and families to receive services for a fee that is based on household size and income.
