Stagevision has continued to focus on the larger, more elaborate events. In 1984, Stagevision AV Services was opened. The rental division was formed to address daily equipment rental requirements and the hotel market. Stagevision expanded into the Western region of the country in 2010 by setting up an office in Vancouver to accommodate the five hotel properties under management there and the local market in general. Moving eastward the company has established a base in Quebec with recent acquisition of Avtec Audio-Visual Services in Montreal and have three hotel properties under management contract. The company has staged events around the globe - on land and on sea - for the company's Canadian as well as the company's American clients. Approximately 30% of the company's yearly business is for events that the company has managed outside of Canada.
