Whittington's aims to serve home made or locally sourced, freshly prepared good food - so you'll be able to taste the difference. Our breakfast menu includes a hearty British fry-up with all the trimmings, with buttered toast, washed down with a cup of tea or coffee - a great way to start your day. Our breakfast is £6.50 which includes tea or an am... ericano coffee. Our light lunches combine simple, freshly prepared meals that match the season, from summer salads to warming winter soups. Omelettes are £6.00, Ploughman's are £7.00, Sandwiches start from £5.00, Soup of the day is £5.50. Our popular cream teas start from £5.50 for a scone with jam and clotted cream and a pot of tea (Traditional Cream Tea), add a sandwich and it's £10.00 (Whittington's Cream Tea) or select a sandwich and a slice of cake to go with your scone & tea and it's £12.50 (Whittington's Vintage Cream Tea). Fancy a glass of bubbly to go with it, then it's £18.50 (Whittington's Special Occasion Vintage Tea). You can add a glass of bubbly to any of our cream teas for £6. Freshly baked scones, served with cream and jam, are the centrepiece of the Whittington's afternoon tea.
