We have a dedicated and experienced team who are committed to preschool education and meeting the needs of individuals and their families. Our curriculum is play based and holistic. We recognise and pay attention to children's personal, social, physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing as well as cognitive aspects of the curriculum. We use the na... tional framework "Belonging, Being and Becoming - Early Years Learning Framework" to plan and assess children's learning during the year they attend kindergarten. In 2018 Warradale Kindergarten will incorporate an Inclusive Preschool Program for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children, to optimise their learning outcomes within a localised preschool setting. This will be an Auslan Bilingual program where spoken English and Auslan (Australian Sign Language) are used simultaneously. The program will provide a language rich play environment for children who are deaf and children from deaf families, providing a strong foundation through Auslan and English to develop communication, early literacy and numeracy, social interactions and relationships. Warradale Kindergarten is situated near a park and tennis courts and is close by to Marion Shopping Centre.
