Sun Nurseries Employee Directory

The original 20 acre parcel was purchased in 1974 and has grown into the facility you see today. In the 70s, Erik Rosenbaum opened the nursery for sales part time while he worked full time as an electrical engineer for Bendix Corporation. By 1981 the nursery was open full time. Since then Erik's daughter, Annette Fentress, has taken over the family... business. The nursery has since added 94 more acres, a few miles away in Carroll County, to produce the tens of thousands of plants the company offers for sale. The company is committed to producing quality plants for the company's customers and have been for 40+ years. The company's family values drive the decisions the company makes in all aspects of business including product quality, customer education, and employee retention. When you visit the nursery, you will find the company's helpful staff of both Certified Professional Horticulturists and degreed professionals. The company believes an educated customer is the best customer. To provide the company's services, the company's year round employees are the company's best assets. The company's nursery associates, managers, designers, and landscapers stay on the company's payroll full-time, year round.
