It operates from sites in Sasolburg and Newcastle. The company origin dates back to 1964. The Synthetic Latex Co (Pty) Ltd, formerly a joint venture between Revertex S.A. and Sentrachem Ltd, produces styrene-butadiene, styrene-acrylate and pure acrylic latices primarily for the South African construction, road, paper and board, carpet, textile, adhesive, automotive and paint industries. It operates a multi-purpose plant at its site in Sasolburg.
