Halterm operates Canada's largest Atlantic Coast container terminal on a 74.5-acre site in the Port of Halifax in Nova Scotia. These facilities permit the company to simultaneously handle three vessels with containers stacked seven high on deck. Two RoRo ramps provide Halterm the flexibility to handle breakbulk, wheeled, towable and 'High & Heavy' cargo. With 74.5 uncongested acres of terminal space, HALTERM's container yard can accommodate up to 12,500 TEU's, including 483 electric temperature controlled units. Containers are able to arrive and leave the terminal seamlessly through 8000 feet of on-dock rail and four truck in-gates, all equipped for SOLAS scaling.
