Halterm operates Canada's largest Atlantic Coast container terminal on a 74.5-acre site in the Port of Halifax in Nova Scotia. With four super post-Panamax cranes, one panamax gantry crane and three deep-water berths (total 1045 meters in length) and a host of yard equipment, supplemented by excellent road and rail connections and sufficient storage area, Halterm is ready to meet all your cargo needs. These facilities permit the company to simultaneously handle three vessels with containers stacked seven high on deck. Two RoRo ramps provide Halterm the flexibility to handle breakbulk, wheeled, towable and 'High & Heavy' cargo. With 74.5 uncongested acres of terminal space, HALTERM's container yard can accommodate up to 12,500 TEU's, including 483 electric temperature controlled units.
