Daily Post Employee Directory

The Daily Post covers North Wales without fear or favour and we base our journalism on the following principles: We get the big stories We get them first We fight for our readers and our region We don't betray the trust our readers place in us Since 1855 we have been proud to serve our region and our readers and we have built our reputation as a st... rong campaigning newspaper. Our recent campaigns include the successful fight to protect doctor-led maternity services at the region's largest hospital - which produced the biggest petition ever delivered to the Welsh Assembly Senedd. The Daily Post has also fought for better mobile phone and broadband connectivity in North Wales and has spent nearly two decades raising funds for the local children's hospice, Ty Gobaith. We've also campaigned to save post offices, care homes, Threatr Clwyd and to keep Wales' highest peak, Snowdon, in the nation's hands. We are committed to excellent and comprehensive coverage of local sport including Wrexham FC, the Welsh football leagues and the region's top rugby club, RGC. We also support local business through the Regional Business Awards, we celebrate the best in North Wales education through our Schools Awards and acknowledge our community heroes through our Your Champions event. Politically, the Daily Post and its sister weekly titles, the North Wales Weekly News, the Caernarfon and Denbigh Herald and the Bangor and Anglesey Mail, stand with their readers and support those initiatives which are right for North Wales rather than those which serve the agenda of any political party. We are based in Colwyn Bay, in the heart of North Wales, where our dozens of staff ply their trade. We are delighted to be a launch partner of The Trust Project as we endeavour to make it simpler for readers of all ages and from all around the world to discover more about who we are and what we believe in.
