ZiD operates its multi-homed data center with multiple fibre optic links using both ATM and SONNET typology. Our data center uses BGP to ensure that data traffic is routed to the best link and provides fault tolerance in case of upstream problems. The data center is protected with UPS and generator power back up that has passed major outages with minimal impact on our clients. We also implement several different firewalls to ensure that our servers are protected and available. Our company also has deployed wireless Internet networks in the Eastern Townships and South Shore, Quebec. We offer wireless broadband and WI-FI links up to 48 Mpbs in these regions. We also provide voice over IP (VOIP) / digital phone service for both residential and business clients.
