WorldLearn creates, develops, markets and delivers a Learning Management System Software and related services that enable customers to embrace even the most frenetic ongoing learning and development business change. Our solutions provide either general or specialised functional business support and benefit all types of private and public sector org... anisations. The seeds to the WorldLearn platform originated in 1995 as an Adelaide technology startup (TechWorks). One of the earliest successes was Qantas College Online, providing online training and assessment to Qantas staff and contractors world-wide. TMP Worldwide / Hudson acquired the company in 1999 and during this period of ownership the client list grew to include corporate organisations such as Airservices Australia, APRA and ANZ Bank Group. Major projects included the development and support of a pioneering web-based solution for the training and scheduling of over 10,000 volunteers at the Salt Lake City Olympic Winter Games. The Contemporary Services Group, a US-based company that specialises in event staffing and training, saw the value of eLearning for both enterprise learning and development as well as event staffing and acquired WorldLearn in 2005. The Melbourne Commonwealth Games 2006 provided an early opportunity to demonstrate the value of the relationship between CSC and WorldLearn where training and scheduling was jointly provided for the entire spectator workforce including security staff.
