Whitstable Marine Services Limited was formed in 2007 after its founder, Lee Dixon became busy with a reputation for reliability and delivery. The company quickly grew as it undertook more and more complex projects, resulting in the new build of the company's Multi-Cat 'Liftmoor' in 2014 -17. As the company has grown in plant and size it now has se... veral other vessels to its fleet list, including the new Coastal Towage Tug 'Pullmoor'. With the ship yard and offices in Sheerness Docks and the newly acquired berths and Jetty space at Ramsgate and Gravesend, Whitstable Marine Services is vastly becoming the Marine Parter of Choice. Lee has been in the Marine Industry his entire life, learning salvage and rigging from his father, the owner Martin Marine Diving Contractors. Lee now oversees all Salvage, Heavy-Lifts and Marine Civil Engineering Projects. He is also the Primary Marine Supervisor at LNG Gas Jetties on the Isle if Grain. Gareth has been in the shipping industry for over 40 years, predominantly ship broking and ships agency for cargo vessels all over the world and trading North Europe, Med and Atlantic. Gareth now works in the office at Sheerness and is WMS' contract manager for all things marine. Benn is a Freeman of the Waterman's and Lighterman's Company, Sea-going Tug Master and an experienced Marine Manager, having worked in the Marine Industry for 18 years. Benn now work oversees all Marine Towage for WMS and is actively involved in several other marine projects. Mark has been in and around the marine industry most of his life, with a range of experience in fabrication and marine engineering and a wealth of business expertise.Read More
