Whispering Meadows

Whispering Meadows is a 127-acre family farm, run by Dean and Trish Scott and our three young daughters. Dean was raised on a beef/cash crop operation in Lucan, and Trish grew up on a dairy/beef operation north of Guelph. Between us, we have over 80 years of experience raising cattle! With a desire to continue our farm family heritage and raise our... three daughters on a farm, we purchased our own farm in 1998, and began a cow/calf operation and cash crop business. Our business focus has been to grow our beef herd to a point where we can offer a supreme quality meat, direct from source to your kitchen table. Our cattle are raised with the goal of providing them with the best quality of life possible. Care and kindness are our top priority. They are fed a diet that is 100% plant and vegetable based, and are free of antibiotics and synthetic hormones. From spring to fall, the cattle graze on premium pastures, and we are the proud winner of the Ontario Pasture Management Competition in 2004. In 2007 Dean's brother, Brad & wife Erin, along with their two children joined the Whispering Meadows Family Farm team. In spring 2008 we also welcomed farm neighbours Frank & Carol Hardy and Paul & Pam Hodgins to the Whispering Meadows partnership. With the same principles and practices they are raising top quality black angus cows and calves that match the Whispering Meadows protocol. After all you deserve only the best for your family too!
