Warwick RAG

Warwick RAG helps people. We join the fight against disaster, poverty, hunger, cruelty and ignorance by supporting charities which deliver frontline help and relief. RAG is your student society and the society which will help you make your efforts to help others really count. We do this by organising events, creating opportunities for challenge and... by having fun while raising funds. By working together, we make a much greater difference than we possibly could on our own as individuals. RAG works. Last year our thousand active members raised £90,000 for charitable causes despite our fundraising being cut short. This academic year we have the most ambitious programme yet in the long history of RAG. There are eight challenges and an international volunteering opportunity, spanning the globe from Iceland to Tanzania. Join RAG and join our efforts to help others. You might embark upon the adventure of a lifetime and put yourself to the test both physically and mentally. Or you might choose to support causes closer to home by participating in raids (bucket collections) and local volunteering opportunities. Your reward will be the deep fulfillment you will gain from the knowledge that your efforts have been put to the best possible use; and you will have had a lot of fun along the way.
