Vision House

Vision House was incorporated as a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) in 1990 to provide safe and confidential transitional housing and services for homeless children and their families, and separately for homeless men recovering from substance abuse. Over the past 25 years, nearly 1,000 men, women and children have benefited from Vision House services. The com... pany's goal is to coordinate successful re-integration of residents into the community through adequate housing, counseling, child care, food, clothing, education and vocational training, life skills development, employment, etc. Vision House is committed to serving a target population who is homeless and whose income falls below 30% of the median income. Residents are allowed and encouraged to stay in the company's homes for 18 months to two years in order to make the changes they need and gain the skills to support themselves and their families.
