1. Our registration cycle is; September 1 to August 31. So, dont register your team/players for next season until Sept. 1 or later. If you do prior to that date your registration fees will expire on Aug. 31. 2. Coaches ACE cards are good until Dec. 31. So, again if you renew it prior to Dec. 31 you will have to register again after Jan. 1, 2020. 3.... Berths earned in other states cannot be deferred by USASB of GA. Only those earned at an event sanctioned by USASB of GA may be deferred by us. 4. We have repeatedly stated; to participate in a USASB of GA sanctioned championship[p berth event, and to receive a USASB of GA National Tournament berth teams must; be individually registered, attain approved status, and all adults on the field or in the dugout must have a cleared background check and certified in ACE/Safe Sport in the current year. This policy must be adhered to, regardless of what USASB National event you earn the berth to. 5. We will be conducting our annual Fall Coaches Meeting on Sunday, August 25, at 5:00 PM at Marist H.S.. I will send more information in the August J.O. In an effort to insure a safe and secure environment for all the youth teams, the National Office of USA Softball has added an additional requirement for the ACE Certification Program titled the Safe Sport Training Program . Keep in mind that all USASB of Georgia teams competing in National Berth Tournaments are required to have all coaches and adult personnel in the dugouts and on the field complete the ACE Certification and Background Check programs.
