US Adjustment Corporation was founded with a vision of providing superior claims handling and exceptional customer service in 1964 by President Stephen N. Gwertzman. The company was originally located at 155 John Street, New York, NY at the center of the Insurance District. As a result of quality service, the company grew at a consistently steady p... ace and found it necessary to move to a larger space located at 161 William Street. Once again in 1993 Mr. Gwertzman deemed it necessary to move again to a larger space where the business is currently located at 40 Fulton Street overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge and the Historic South Street Seaport. The New York office has Seven Executive General Adjusters and General Adjusters handling large complex property losses of all lines, with a support staff of six. From this location Third Party Administration is conducted by Stephen Gwertzman, Palmer "Mike" App Jr. SCLA, RPA and Marvin Reinheimer, CCLA, CPCU. Again, as a result of the ever expanding business the company opened its first branch office in Trevose, Pennsylvania a hamlet of Philadelphia, allowing the company to service a much larger geographic area and client base.
