UPSIDE DEVELOPMENT, INC. has been in business since 1993. UPSD is a development stage company focused on the scrap tire industry. Our objective is to make strategic acquisitions of scrap tire companies to produce both TDF and crumb rubber. In December, 2000, we entered into a series of agreements to acquire 3 tire recycling companies, allowing us t... o expand our technology expertise into a fast growth industry. The first step of Upside Development, Inc., was to enter into acquisition and joint venture agreements with these strategically located companies. Each company is unique and provides a different service to the recycling effort, and each one will support one another with services that would normally be provided by a competitor. These acquisitions will give us a strong presence in NY, NJ, PA, and OH. These states not only offer us access to a plethora of tires, but they also offer countless users of crumb rubber. For manufacturers and consumers alike, the demand for crumb is well documented. In Ohio, our Adriatic Tire facility is currently relocating. Our new location will be able to handle over 500,000 tires the first year and will have a rail siding. In addition, we will take in overproduction and scrap EPDM rubber from local manufacturers and crumb into playground mulch. This will go back into our distributor network for resale.Read More
