True Blue Group is one of the largest KFC franchises in Africa, operating over 70 stores in South Africa and Mozambique. The Group also manages sizable properties and hotel portfolios which span across South Africa, Mozambique and Namibia. In the 1950s he started his first business venture: a small grocery store in Durban. From this humble beginning, he built a formidable empire in both the hospitality and liquor industries. During the 1980s, Mr Naidoo's sons joined the business. Over the next decade, they oversaw the transformation of over 30 companies into a single entity named True Blue Investment Holdings. The previous companies were absorbed into 3 sub-divisions, aptly named: True Blue Hotels, True Blue Properties and True Blue Foods (KFC and Pizza Hut).
