PROFILE TRASHCO began its operations in Dubai in 1977. The company, incorporated by SITA Group from France and local partners, soon enjoyed success in the provision of WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman (Ajman office was opened in 2001). The list of clients is at present well over 1900 references in all types of business and industry : hotels, shopping centers, seaports and airports, shipping industry, oil and gas industry, golf clubs, residential areas, army camps, small and medium manufacturing plants . . . Over the years, TRASHCO also expanded its scope of service to include Medical Waste Collection (400 private hospitals and clinics are clients of TRASHCO ), Liquid Waste Collection, Hazardous Waste Collection, Recycling and more recently Industrial Cleaning (high pressure and ultra high pressure). The mother company SITA changed its name to SUEZ ENVIRONMENT recently. SUEZ ENVIRONMENT is a 100% subsidiary of SUEZ a world leader in Energy, Water and Waste management, employing 700,000 people around the world. A private company, SUEZ is listed both at the New York and Paris Stock Exchanges. The other international partner in TRASHCO is WASTE ALLIANCE. In 2004, TRASHCO employs around 200 drivers, helpers, mechanics and administration staff, and operates around 60 vehicles from its state-of-the-art yard at Al Quoz Industrial Area, Dubai.
