Touching Hearts

I have loved working with our Caregiver over the last 3+ years. She always does an excellent job at whatever I ask her to do. I like to have a list ready for when she comes. This seems to have worked well for both of us. She is a hard worker who handles any task at hand with ease. She knows me and my needs and is respectful of them. I sense she is... one who likes a challenge. In one case I said I needed help with reorganizing my bedroom closet. I had just moved into my apartment and was getting settled. She said Let me take a stab at it and you come back in a bit and look it over. Sure enough my closest was very organized and just what I was looking for. I could go on and on, but Im sure you get the idea. Today my dad is on his way to San Diego to live with my brother. He recently hit the point where he was unable to live alone without some support. With both my brother and I living out of state, we feared for his continued health and safety. My dad needed very short term, and immediate support for a few hours a day. I made several phone calls but Touching Hearts at Home was the only company that was willing to work with me under those particular conditions. The very next day the company president arrived at my fathers home to meet him, and help arrived the following day, even before I had the opportunity to sign a work agreement. The care givers were friendly and efficient, and provided exactly the type of help he needed until my brother could arrive a little over a week later.
