Wisconsin Reinsurance Corporation (WRC) was formed on November 3, 1931 by 10 town mutual insurance companies from Wisconsin to meet their reinsurance needs in the state of Wisconsin. Since then, WRC has expanded its business into the states of Arkansas, Iowa, Missouri, South Dakota and Illinois. WRC is the parent company of The WRC Group. The board of directors of WRC is comprised of nine men and women who are full-time managers of reinsured companies. This provides WRC with the guidance and direction to focus on the needs of the companies that we serve. Contributing to the mutual industry has always been a priority for WRC.
