The Talent Group

The Talent Group was founded in 1993 by Stephen Black and Richard Kohn. Together they have over fifty years combined experience in the entertainment industry; in front of the camera, as agents and in television and film production. Mr. Black was a successful actor, director and highly respected acting teacher in New York, Toronto and Los Angeles. H... e is one of four national representatives for the prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. Mr. Kohn was a voice-over agent at J. Michael Bloom & Associates in New York representing talent such as James Earl Jones, Kathleen Turner, Wesley Snipes and Alec Baldwin. In Los Angeles, Richard was the Director of Program Development for D.L Taffner where he developed television pilots for the three major networks as well as Fox and The Disney Channel. The Talent Group was Pittsburgh's first AFTRA/SAG franchised talent agency representing both union and non-union talent. In February of 2002 The Talent Group opened an office in Cleveland, Ohio making it the strongest agency in Ohio, Pennsylvania and the West Virginia territory. The agency represents talent throughout the region and the country. National and local clients include companies such as Microsoft, Proctor & Gamble, Federal Express, General Motors, Sears, GNC and American Greetings.
