About The Stone Store
The Stone Store Natural Foods ltd is an independently owned and operated business. We are located in a beautiful old stone building in downtown Guelph. Candice Pergolas and Brenda Aherne are the proprietors and have been business partners since 1973. They met through a shared interest in organic and natural food. With the wonderful support of the Guelph community, the Stone Store has evolved into a busy, thriving enterprise with a staff of 18 people. We are open 7 days a week and carry a wide selection of natural and organic foods. This includes produce, supplements, personal care products, package and bulk foods, books, dairy and bread. We also carry gluten free and vegan products. Our emphasis is on organic, fair trade and local. We donate a percentage of our profit each year to local art and music programmes, and various charities.
