The Pocket Book

We are Lynn Taylor and David Cooper, fellow educators who have worked together, both in and out of the classroom, for the past twenty years. As professionals dedicated to lifelong learning, we continue to grow and change. We are committed to becoming skilled kid-watchers and to making the classroom environment as much like the real world as possibl... e. We want our students to develop social skills, become good thinkers and problem solvers, and to see and understand the interrelatedness of all things in our world. We also want them to work and play as a community of friends and fellow learners who are responsible to themselves, to each other, and to their world. Behind the themes we have developed that are now available in our catalog, we offer many other resources that are compatible with this philosophy of teaching and learning--resources that have been successful with our own students. Some of these resources, such as Pocketful of Memories, Pocketful of Homework, Things I Know, I Can Spell, and Hand 'n Hand, are materials that we developed out of needs that have come from our own teaching.
