The Jericho Road Project

Founded in 2003 by a group of professionals looking to volunteer their professional skills to serve non-profits, Jericho Road Project's (JRP) mission is "to bridge communities by matching the professional talents of volunteers with the needs of community-based non-profit organizations and businesses to promote community development, strengthen soci... al services and enrich the lives of volunteers." JRP has three distinct programs: 1. Skill-Based Volunteers. JRP provides skill-based volunteers in diverse areas such as strategic planning, technology, marketing, et al. and offers project-based, pro bono services to non-profits in the community with the goal of sustainability and capacity building. 2. Replicating the JRP model. JRP seeks to expand its skill-based volunteer model through a proven, three-phased process which incubates, helps launch and supports on an on-going basis, independent affiliate sites. Replicated sites in Massachusetts include Lowell, Worcester, Lynn, Lawrence, and Roxbury. Nationally, affiliated sites include Jericho Road Pasadena and Jericho Road Dallas.Read More
