The COSMESS

COSMESS UGANDA is a humanitarian and development National Non-governmental organization formed and legally registered with the government of Uganda in 2016. COSMESS is committed to delivering humanitarian assistance to the most vulnerable populations and those recovering from disaster and are in need of capacity building/skilling services. COSMESS... Uganda seeks to address causes and effects of poverty through development, relief and advocacy. COSMESS Uganda is able to provide skill support, child protection and mentorship, train farmers, participate in advocacy campaigns, and distribute improved crop varieties and animal breeds. Projects based on grants were also started to cover different sectors including water and sanitation, HIV and AIDS, food security, psychosocial support and peace building. Expansion in geographical areas and in activities has been based on need. COSMESS Uganda started in 2016 to offer relief and protection packages and to help bring back hope to those ravaged by civil wars in the neighbouring countries of Uganda especially those bordering Uganda in the southern, western and West Nile regions. COSMESS Uganda currently operates in seven districts: In Westnile Region (Yumbe, Moyo and Adjumani), South Western Region (Kanungu, Kisoro and Ntoroko), and Central Region (Kampala as the head-Office). We intend to extend our operations to other regions. We are a Friendly based organization with the passion and will to take services to those in hard to reach locations to benefit the most rural and remote populations. Through our friendship networks and affiliation programmes, we are able to identify critical needs of the population and tailor our programmes appropriately.
