About Temple
Temple, Inc., located in Decatur, Alabama, is a family-owned company that's been serving the South for over 60 years. In 1954, Carl Temple and his son Bill founded Temple & Son Electric Company in Gadsden, Alabama as an electrical contractor. The City of Gadsden soon called on Temple & Son to service and maintain its new, electro-mechanical traffic control signals, prompting the company's start in the traffic industry. Carl Temple retired in 1964, and Bill sold the contracting portion of the company, re-locating Temple & Son to Decatur in 1965.Explore more
