Temple, Inc., located in Decatur, Alabama, is a family-owned company that's been serving the South for over 60 years. In 1954, Carl Temple and his son Bill founded Temple & Son Electric Company in Gadsden, Alabama as an electrical contractor. The City of Gadsden soon called on Temple & Son to service and maintain its new, electro-mechanical traffic control signals, prompting the company's start in the traffic industry.
