We have a deep-rooted history in Bloomington-Normal. Our founder andfather, Maurice Sr. began as a carpet installer in the early fifties. The trade became a supplement to his income as a police officer. He worked nights, days and weekends - whenever he was off-shift. Eventually his reputation grew into an opportunity to retail carpeting - out of hi... s garage at home. His sons learned the craft as he had. They learned about business like no school could teach. And they learned about honesty, integrity and ethics with his customers - many of whom were friends and co-workers. When he said, "Treat Mrs. Jones like you would treat your mother ", he meant it.
