Founded in 2012, SUNY Korea is the first American university in Korea to hold both undergraduate and graduate studies established by the Korean government. SUNY Korea currently has about 800 students from 35 countries, even though it began with 23 students in the first semester. SUNY Korea offers seven undergraduate programs: 5 from Stony Brook (Technological Systems Management, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics and Statistics, and Business Management) and two from FIT (Fashion Design and Fashion Business Management).
