Sullivan West Central School District is one of New York States youngest school districts. Created in 1999 by the merger of the Narrowsburg, Delaware Valley, and Jeffersonville-Youngsville Central School Districts, today the company's district spreads over 250 square miles of woods, streams, farmland and mountains, and enrolls 1300 students.The com... pany's schools serve the finest youngsters in New York State. They excel in academics, inter-scholastic athletics, drama, art and music.Theyre model student citizens, participating actively in school and civic affairs and volunteering within the community in countless ways.During the past years the company's graduates have gone on to distinguishedcolleges and universities including Siena College, New York University, Harvard University, Boston College, Hofstra University, Lehigh University, Villanova University, Elmira College, University of Rochester,American University, and two year and four year SUNY colleges and universities across the state.The company's athletic teams are very competitive -- often divisional, sectional, and sometimes state champions. The company has over thirty clubs and activities are available for students in elementary, middle and senior high.Few small rural districts can boast the academic programs and resources that Sullivan West has.
