About Stargate
Stargate is an open source API gateway that deploys between applications and Apache Cassandra databases. The project transforms Cassandra into a JSON document database and automatically exposes databases as secure Web APIs, including GraphQL and REST endpoints with token authentication. It provides a high-performance gRPC API and supports native CQL traffic. Stargate utilizes a modular, service-oriented architecture that separates coordinator and storage nodes into independently deployable and scalable services.
