St John's Lutheran School

The past few weeks the students in grades 5-8 have been participating in a Punt, Pass, and Kick competition. This past Friday the students pictured (Isaiah, Ava, Jack, and Rinlee) represented our school at the LALSAC Punt, Pass, and Kick competition at Luther High School. Ava was our highest finisher in second place. This week our cross country sea... son wraps up. Our runners will participate in the Chileda Classic at Maple Grove Venues on Monday, and on Thursday they will run in the Ole Olmstead Invitational here in Lewiston at the golf course. There is an elementary race at 4:15 on Thursday for any students in grades 1-6 that wish to participate. No registration is required. Mr. Witte and Mr. Baures from Luther High School were at St. John's today to talk to the 4th and 5th graders about the Luther Elementary School Band program. The 4th and 5th graders had the chance to try a clarinet, flute, trumpet, and tuba. The students each received information and registration information for this coming school year. The LALSAC volleyball season has reached its midpoint. The B-girls and A-girls are both undefeated at this point. This Saturday, October 9, they will play at St. John's.
