Squarable is currently located in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Alan Ellman started his technology career when he founded ScreamingMedia (NASDAQ:SCRM) with partner and mentor Jay Chiat of Chiat/Day Advertising in 1993. ScreamingMedia was the largest content integrator and sydicator of proprietary content on the internet and merged with its nearest competitor, CBS Marketwatch, in 2002; SCRM eventually sold to News Corp shortly thereafter. Alan was an Ernst and Young entrepreneur of the year finalist in 2001. He is a serial entrepreneur who funded "SuperSize Me" the movie, and helped start touchmedia.cn, an interactive kiosk in 40,000 cabs and ReturnPath, a worldwide leader in email intelligence. Alan started Emergent Trading Fund (a hedge fund) based on historical high probability intraday patterns in 2004. The fund beat the market and all hedge fund indexes every year, every quarter, with all positive years from 2004 through 2008. After seeing the incredible growth of the internet, he focused on developing new internet properties with DC3 in 2009; he later converted DC3 into a full service/digital agency. Creative Director Todd Irwin is the founder of DC3, where he conceptualizes and produces brand identities, ad campaigns, installations, displays. and anything a brand needs that involves visual or verbal creative.
