We hope everyone had a peaceful and safe summer. These past few months have been challenging in many ways. Our world confronted the COVID-19 pandemic, and the medical and emotional issues it poses, society faced the troubling ways some groups were treating other groups, and we are all soul searching to find ways to make changes so that injustices d... o not repeat themselves. As we prepare to start the 2020 -2021 academic year, the Snowden Farm Elementary School PTA is gearing up. Because of the inability to hold in person elections this past May, the existing executive committee has agreed to remain in their positions until we are able to hold elections safely. We urge you to join the PTA by signing up for membership. Please see our flyerabout how the PTA helps the parents and the school. The PTA is committed to continue to bring kids, parents, teachers, and school administrators together to form a community. We are committed to supporting the teachers and staff during this upcoming year by providing continued support and stipends to the teachers and staff members. To our past members, we thank you for your support this past year and hope that you will renew your PTA membership for the 2020-2021 school year. The Board of Directors has spent time brainstorming ideas for fun, virtual activities to keep our Stallions engaged and to offer opportunities for us to come together. We have prepared a survey to get feedback and suggestions as to what you would like to see or feel is most important for us to focus on this year.
