Destiny School

Destiny School delivers a robust academic curriculum in an environment where dedication and hard work is expected, and success is celebrated. Our school-wide curriculum is based on the IGCSE and AS Level qualifications (Cambridge International Examinations). Under normal circumstances, this kind of curriculum would not be available to the majority... of our Maori and Pacific students derived from lower socio-economic communities. But at Destiny School, we make it happen. In today's global economy our goal is to ensure students emerge with qualifications that are not only competitive and relevant in New Zealand, but also overseas. Our academic pillars of numeracy and literacy are complimented by Science, Business, ICT, Geography, Physical Education and Art. Junior and Primary include Te Reo Maori, Health, Music, Phonics, Social Studies and Small Business and Entrepreneurial Studies. Examinations are delivered under the umbrella of The Association of Cambridge Schools in New Zealand.
