About Small Town Music Lessons

My name is Kristin Phillips. I am the teacher and business manager at Small Town Music Lessons. I began piano lessons in 1994 just before my 7th birthday, and have been teaching since early 2003. It is my desire to encourage my students as they develop proficiency in their instrument, joy in their curiosity of music, and technical abilities to play well in every skill they learn - improvisation, sight reading, ear training, notation, composition, recording, performing, and much more. I absolutely love what I do, and strive to make music lessons an encouraging, peaceful, gentle, fun, fascinating, and exciting interaction for each student. It would be a pleasure to meet with your family at a free, private meet & greet to discuss the possibility of starting lessons. Please let me know if you have any questions. This is an Oregon music studio (located in Boring 97009)... within easy distance of Boring (97009), Sandy (97055), Brightwood (97011), Gresham (97030, 97080), Troutdale (97060), EsRead more
