Simhapuri Energy Limited (SEL), incorporated on December 2, 2005 with main objective to Construct, Operate and maintain Thermal Power Plants.SEL is a SPV Promoted by Madhucon Infra Limited(MIL) and N.S.Associates. SEL is envisaging development of a coal based thermal power project of ultimate capacity of 1920 MW in Three Phases at Tamminapatnam and Mommidi Villages, Chillakur Mandal, SPSR Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh. Phase-I (2 x 150MW) Commissioned, Phase-II (2 x 150MW) shall be commisssioned in 2012 and Phase-III (2X660 MW) are planned. The implementation of the project has already started. SEL is the first Private Sector Power Project obtained all clearence in the krishnapatnum port area well ahead of the other power projects that are proposed to be set up in the krishnapatanam area.Explore more
