Sahyadri Foundation is a government registered NGO is registered under Society Registration Act, 1860 and Trust under the Mumbai Public Trust Act, 1950 on March 2002 by a group of professionals who shared a common dream and had come together to work on a people-centric model of development in areas such as health, education for economically poor ru... ral children, livelihood, community development and social welfare. The genesis of the organization was to help those who are the most vulnerable and in dire need of help. From the very beginning, our prime initiative was focused on Health. To cope with health problems in the area near Nagpur, the team of Sahyadri Foundation is leading many projects, and workshops. Which are centered around Tuberculosis and HIV to help the community to cure and prevent by making aware of such health threats and by conducting continuous health camps with the help of government initiatives. Sahyadri foundation is also working on other initiatives focused on Social Awareness , Quality Education, Women Empowerment, Rural Development, Youth Upliftment, Environment protection and shelter for homeless with a dream of an exploitation-free society where children, women, adolescents, farmers belonging to underprivileged section of society are empowered and mainstreamed to Create young and developed nation wherein every individual enjoys quality life. The Foundation and its activities are mainly supported by donations from industries and government initiatives. All donations to Sahyadri Foundation are exempted from taxes under Section 80G and 12A of the Income Tax Act and Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA).Read More
