Before launching his consulting firm, Benson served as Director, Real Estate at American Tower Corp, as well as, Director of Strategic Accounts for Connecti... vity Wireless. Before joining Connectivity Wireless as Director of In-Building Wireless, Benson launched CommScopes entry into the enterprise DAS marketplace following CommScopes acquisition of Andrew Corporation. While at CommScope, he authored and published the industrys first Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) specification for distributed antenna systems (DAS), which was used in over 20 million sq. ft. of new commercial construction. Bensons wireless experience includes sales and marketing roles at Andrew, Motorola, Sprint and Marconi. Benson spearheaded the introduction of the very first DSP-based channelized signal booster for the public safety market and continues to advocate best practices for DAS deployments in mission-critical public safety environments.
