The mission of Robotiators Team 888 is to engage students interested in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) in a challenging, project-based robotics program that not only fosters engineering and technology skills, but also develops skills in leadership, communication and professionalism. We provide a fun, collaborative environmen... t that facilitates problem solving, organization, and creative thinking to inspire innovative ideas for robotic competitions, school projects and outreach programs. With the guidance of supportive mentors, we implement an engineering design and build process that instills self-confidence and encourages teamwork, commitment, and perseverance. At competitions, we promote healthy competitiveness, but value the reward of overcoming failure and the excitement of success more than winning.
