They were professionals who accumulated business experiences in the manufacturing and technological segments and knew business strategies in the tax area. Together, they identified a challenge and an opportunity in the m... arket: consulting firms offered only tax services, without technological support. From this perception emerged Becomex: a consulting firm specialized in Special Tax and Customs Regimes, with technology knowledge. At first, there were only two small offices, one in Joinville and one in So Paulo. In 2010, another important company in this history was founded: Quirius, focused on tax areas as well as technology. That year, Becomex specialists began to develop projects for special tax and customs regimes that would increase the possibilities of cost reduction for multiple segments, with a focus on large exporters. That required a long articulation with the government to simplify the procedures and systems. It was only in 2015 that the innovative Becomex project on special tax and customs regimes, with benefits for the entire supply chain, especially for the automotive segment, could be put into practice and used by the entire market. During this period, with the increase of multinational companies in Brazil, Becomex also stood out by developing a distinguished Transfer Pricing system, with exclusive technology. The objective was to deliver to the market a new concept of management and planning for intercompany operations, with a vision beyond compliance. Meanwhile, Quirius established its market share by creating solutions that kept pace with the need to digitize business tax processes, speeding up the preparation of information provided to the government.
