In 1997, our founder, Kevin Martin worked at a Ford dealership. Ford trainers came to the dealership to encourage better customer service in an attempt to improve customer retention. Fords own data showed that only 8% of customers returned to the selling dealer for service and maintenance of their vehicle after the original sale. He realized that 92% of the customers were going elsewhere for service and repair. He always wanted to own his own business and realized what an opportunity there was for a dealership alternative that actually specialized in one line of cars and trucks.
