The idea of the hybrid drone for dust monitoring of qAIRa obtained a Honorable Mention in the category "Innovative Applied to the Sector" of the Award to the Technological Innovation in the Mining-Energy Sector 2017 of the National Society of Mining, Oil and Energy of Peru (SNMPE). qAIRa won the funding of Ideas Audaces from Cienciactiva of the Nat... ional Council of Science, Technology and Technological Innovation (CONCYTEC) in order to implement their solution throughout Peru. Seedstars World promotes, connects and invests in emerging market startups through its exclusive startup competition in 60 countries. qAIRa represented Peru in the world finals that were held during April 2017 in Switzerland. Mónica Abarca of qAIRa was winner of the prize "Best Female Entrepreneur" in this global competition. Agora Partnerships supports and accelerates entrepreneurs that work towards the shift to a more sustainable, equitable, and abundant world, in order to create social impact. qAIRa is part of their last generation of startups. Julio Ramrez from THE qAIRa team participated in the workshop for humanitarian use of UAVs for the preparation and response to disasters organized by the World Food Program (WFP) in collaboration with the National Institute of Civil Defense (INDECI). This initiative emerges to identify the potential use of drones before, during and after natural disasters, such as "Niño Costero 2017" in Peru. qAIRa is part of the sixth generation of StartUp Peru from Innvate Per (Ministry of Production) in the category of Dynamic Ventures.
