Prodeo Academy is a Minneapolis-based charter school founded by experienced educators Rick Campion and Chancey Anderson to provide equitable, high-quality K-8 education to families in North Minneapolis. Recognizing that exceptional school performance stems from deliberate design and proven instructional practices, the founders spent two years study... ing and completing internships at top-performing schools across the countryincluding Uncommon Schools, one of the nation's highest-performing charter networksto identify and implement best practices within their own institution. Prodeo Academy opened in fall 2013 with three kindergarten classrooms and operates on a measured growth model, adding one new kindergarten class of approximately 66 students annually until full K-8 capacity is reached.
