Pro Copy was founded in Omaha in 1990 as a specialized copy service designed to address the specific and demanding reprographic needs of the legal industry. Our main focus was litigation support, often considered the most difficult type of copying. Of course, we worked with and continue to serve all legal practitioners as well as their support staf... fs, major corporations and a wide variety of corporate accounts. We now service local and national accounts on an ongoing basis. Word of our superior service and dependability spread through the business community and, in the latter part of 1991, we expanded our services to include large-format copying for the architectural and engineering professions. This growth contributed greatly to our success and continues to be a major source of Pro Copy's business. The hard work and dedication of several key staff members allowed us to open our second location in Des Moines in early 1995. That office rapidly created a loyal and still-growing client base and stands as a very successful venture. Once again, the hard work of some dedicated staff members deserves thanks. At about that same time, we began to research the evolving litigation imaging market, reviewing literally every document scanning and retrieval / document management software package existing in the market. After exhaustive testing and considerable investments in software, we determined that no products fully addressed our specific needs for litigation imaging and determined that we would build our own software, in-house, to meet those needs. After two years of intense effort in software design and development, we had a working product, Legal Access Ware, that, through our contacts with service bureaus across the nation, was stirring interest throughout the litigation industry. At that point, we began selling our software to other service bureaus.
