Pride Pak Canada

Highly Engaged Employees

Steven Karr established Pride Pak Canada Ltd. ("Pride Pak") in 1984 to service what he saw as a need to meet Canada's growing need for high quality, healthy, easy to use fresh food. We now proudly operate as Canada's largest fresh fruit and vegetable processor from a state-of-the-art facility in Mississauga. In 2006 we opened our second facility Pr... ide Pak Nfld. Ltd, which processes fresh fruit and vegetables for the Province of Newfoundland. Pride Pak's products meet the demands of the value-added produce industry which has experienced strong growth over the last 15 years. In Canada, fresh cut fruits and vegetables and packaged salad mixes now represents approximately 20% of total produce sales at your local grocery store. Food service operators have also increased their use of value-added produce. This comes as a direct result of the maturation and refinement of this industry. Food service operators now recognize the value of purchasing washed, ready to eat fruits and vegetables that translates into less labour, less waste, higher quality, improved food safety and controllable costs. Pride Pak is uniquely positioned to take advantage of this growing market opportunity. With the expertise of its founder, and the dedication of our team of over 200 employees we are committed to producing and delivering the highest quality processed fruits and vegetables to all of our valued customers. Our senior management, many of whom have been with the company for over 20 years, provide a combined experience in this industry in excess of 150 years. Pride Pak's processing standards and techniques enable us to produce a high quality product that equals or exceeds all of the competition. We were active in the value-added produce industry long before fresh-cut fruits and vegetables became popular in Canada. We are proud to be recognized for superior quality products and service. We strive to set the standard by which all other processors should be measured and are fortunate to have the support of our suppliers, customers, ...Read More
