Experience is a must for valuation accuracy in this niche. Vicki began her career in 1988 with Chubb Insurance in Denver, CO, establishing valuation expertise in unique mountain resort properties. Later moving to Louisville, KY as part of the branch opening team, she expanded her valuation expertise to include historic and large equestrian properties. Identifying a need for high value home inspection vendors, Vicki founded Cornerstone Appraisal Services in 1996, offering vendor inspection services for homes over $1 Million. After expanding from 4 to 28 states, and 1 to 16 appraisers in three years, the business was sold to allow more time with her young family. Experience in the real estate market, and owning a residential construction /remodel company over the following 12 years provided additional hands on training to add to Vicki's valuation expertise. This field construction experience differentiates her among RC appraisers, as the construction appraisal knowledge is more than academic.
