Originally, PhotoFile Cornwall supported our B&B business that we operated here at Redgate Smithy for 15 wonderful years, after we chose to give up our busy jobs in engineering and teaching to come down to Cornwall and the place that we loved. It was here that we started up a B&B business, and a new phase of our lives, and it is here that we have n... ow retired from providing B&B, and have started yet another new phase of our lives. We would like to thank all those guests who stayed with us, and who helped support our business over those years, many of whom have now become our friends, and who made our business such a success. Redgate Smithy itself is situated on the edge of Bodmin Moor, just above Golitha Falls, in the heart of SE Cornwall. Just as it has been for our guests, and now it is for us (now we have a little more time!), we are perfectly located for exploring Cornwall north, south, east or west. Golitha Falls are just down the lane opposite from us, and they remain a beautiful yet mysterious place to explore; peaceful and tranquil, yet beautiful and foreboding all at once.
